There is a lady who has been coming to this corps for about 10 years and her names comes up over andover again. she had knee surgery the day before our first Sunday so I have not been able to meet her. I finally picked up some cases of soda (she has tons of kids) and went to her house.
Welcomed warmly, invited in, and had a wonderful conversation about God, the work he has done in her life, and what she would like to see happen in the corps. She spoke warmly of the previous corps officers (always a plus in my eyes), and was looking forward to the future.
