Spent the whole day making phone calls and catching up on office stuff. We are trying to hire a shelter director and not sure about whether or not we get this other grant - if we do, we may have to hire a few more people. I heard that the biggest roadblock to getting it was overcome so the chances have increased for us to get it.
But we need to work on the budget, interview people, clean up the building (the donations are STLL pouring in!), prepare for the fall startup of programs, keep intouch with all the Booth Families, still work with the fire survivors, and get ready for Sunday.
Oh, and enjoy a three day weekend. Right. LOL!
