Battle on the Frontline!

Our dogs have ticks - that is disgusting! We didn't get them in Colorado - too high altitude - we didn't get them in Eastern Oregon - for whatever reason. But we have them here - and they swell up and engorge themselves on the blood of the poor puppies. We have to be careful when pulling them out because if you pull them out the wrong way, they leave body parts (like heads and pincer pieces) in their skin and germs and diseases and all things bad can happen . .. ewwww. If you burn it with hot tweezers, you take the risk of burning the dog. If you smother it with vaseline, they will regurgitate their poison into the skin of the dog . . .so gross.

It's like our life - and sin - and people . . .sin engorges itself with our life, our emotions, our thoughts, our actions. When we try to disengage ourselves from negative people or negative things (okay, just say it, sin), little bits and pieces end up sticking with us - making it hard to get rid of completely. You risk taking the chance of the person getting mad and regurgitating their poison into your life - it's just not easy.

the best offense is a good defense. There is a product called Frontline which when applied to the dog keeps fleas from even coming close to the dog. I want to apply Jesus to my life and keep the enemy away . . .

Jesus . . .my offense . . my defense . . my Frontline.
