Went to a birthday party for a man who is held in high regard . . .terry winters. he was the officer/pastor here about 10 years ago and we heard so many nice tributes to him from people. Good to be referred to in "spiritual" terms - that's what I want.
Terry is 55, and a very active leader in this community. He's recently been diagnosed with cancer and is agressively treating it with various ways - among them prayer.
I very much enjoyed myself tonight. It is good to be around good people.
